The tower's illumination is part of the new lightning scheme for Brussels conceived by the Brussels Regional Minister for Public Works Pascal Smet (Flemish socialist).
Maar wie betaalt nu de extra electriciteitsrekening voor de 'paddestoel' op grondgebied van VRT maar tevens gebruikt door RTBF: Vlaanderen of Wallonië? Neen, het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest. Dus iedereen voor niemand...
