30 december 1992: ik was live getuige bij de' final Mike Hollis words' tijdens de allerlaatste utzending van Engelstalige service van Radio Luxemburg. The Station of The Stars, m'n gids doorheen m'n jeugd. Had ik toen kunnen denken dat ik de allerlaatste uitzending ter plaatse mocht/kon meemaken? 'The much-anticipated relaunch of Radio Luxembourg's English service is due to take place in less than days. A new website at www.radioluxembourg.co.uk is streaming the same output as the DRM tests currently taking place on 7145 kHz, with a format of classic rock music, new jingles, and some presentation which seems to be live, but may be voice-tracked, "from the car park here at Radio Luxembourg". The Web audio quality is excellent listening to the high quality feed at 128 kbps.'
